The Museum of the City of New York, founded in 1923, as an art gallery and history museum looks out over Central Park on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York. Its mission is to present the history of New York City and its people.

WDF Inc. was honored to be selected to complete the HVAC systems for the 3000 square foot pavilion gallery glass enclosed space on time and on budget. The public project was completed for the New York City Department of Design and Construction.

We installed and set into operation all of the following: cooling towers, chillers, air handlers, heat pumps and fan coil units, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, sprinkler system for new addition, mechanical piping with insulation and ductwork.

New Museum Director, Susan Henshaw Jones declared, "I remember when we first met to discuss this project and it seemed like 120 degrees in the courtyard...and now it's cool and very comfortable."
