Bellevue Hospital

The Bellevue Hospital Modernization project at 462 First Avenue, New York, New York, for Turner Construction is HVAC work for the 10th floor intensive care unit.

WDF Inc. replaced four 120,000 cfm air handling units, 12" chilled water lines, hot water and steam piping. An air distribution system with VAV boxes and reheat coils was installed along with isolation rooms exhaust system, water and air balancing of all systems.

All work was performed in a working hospital.

This 64,000 square foot space was completed for the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) with architects Pei, Cobb Freed Associates and engineers Cosentini Associates.
