John Bowne High School

John Bowne High School at 6725 Main Street, Flushing, New York is a project for the School Construction Authority of the City of New York (SCA), the Port Authority of NY/NJ and the Federal Aviation Administration.

The project includes an aircraft noise abatement program and erection of a new chiller plant at the 270,000 square foot, four building complex. Additionally, all windows are to be removed and replaced and the interior air conditioning installed with new duct work and new 144 fan coil units and new recovery units. Work also includes modernizing science laboratories and installation of curtain wall systems. Also, the work includes repair, alteration of inclusion of roofing, parapets, brick, masonry, suspended ceilings, rooftop exhaust fans, electrical service, and electrical work.
