WDF completed two major contracts located at Trump Place Complex on the Upper West Side overlooking the Hudson River.

The 33 story luxury rental high-rise has twin 15 story towers on an 18 story common base. WDF performed all of the plumbing work for this project, including sanitary, vent, and storm drainage systems, and water and gas distribution systems, serving all apartments, public laundry, and fitness center facilities housed within.

Special interesting design features include the two towers of the building are fed by a single water distribution zone sourced by a roof tank located in one of the towers. Hot and cold mains on the 18th floor bring water from one tower to the other.

Completed in 2001, this project had an extremely aggressive construction schedule, about six months shorter than normal for a typical residential building.

WDF HVAC division completed the full sprinkler/fire protection installation for the entire “B” building including alterations for each tenant as renovations were needed.

The Construction Manager was Bovis Lend Lease, the Architect was Costas Kondylis & Partners, and the Engineer was I.M. Robbins & Associates.
